Shipping policy
Where We Ship
We ship to destinations only in the United States.
Processing and Fulfillment
Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days of order placement. Back-ordered items or those subject to manufacturer lead times will be identified on the product page where that information is available, and we will notify you when the back-ordered items ship.
Orders ship directly from the manufacturer's facility in Whitestown, Indiana.
Back-ordered Items and Partial Shipments
Orders containing back-ordered items will ship in multiple batches as products become available. We do not hold a complete order waiting on a single item unless explicitly requested.
Freight is charged per shipment. An order that ships in three batches will incur three separate freight charges. Each shipment is invoiced separately for freight once its charges are known.
If you prefer your order to ship complete in a single shipment, note this at checkout or email us at tooling@centriciterations.com before your order enters fulfillment. Consolidated shipment may delay delivery of the items that were otherwise ready to ship. We cannot guarantee that consolidated shipping will be available at the time of your request.
Shipping Charges Are Billed Separately
Shipping costs are not calculated or collected at checkout. Because orders ship directly from the manufacturer and freight is quoted after the shipment is prepared, exact shipping charges are not known at the time you place your order.
At checkout, every customer must acknowledge and agree that shipping charges will be billed separately and that you are responsible for payment of all reasonable shipping and freight costs associated with your order.
How you will be billed:
-
Once freight charges are known, we will send you an updated invoice with a payment link.
-
Shipping invoices are due on receipt.
Unpaid Shipping Invoices
Shipping invoices are due on receipt. If a shipping invoice remains unpaid:
-
A late fee of 0.1% of the unpaid balance accrues per calendar day, beginning the day after the invoice is issued, and continues to accrue until the balance is paid in full.
-
All active orders will be placed on hold, including orders already in fulfillment.
-
All future orders will be placed on hold until the outstanding balance is cleared.
-
Shipping invoices carry a grace period of three (3) business days from the invoice date. If the balance is not paid within that period, a late fee of 0.1% of the unpaid balance accrues per calendar day, retroactive to the invoice data, and continues to accrue until the balance is paid in full
Orders held for non-payment are not cancelled, and items already in fulfillment remain your responsibility. We may send persistently unpaid balances to collections, and you agree to pay reasonable costs of collection, including attorney fees when permitted by law.
Using Your Own Carrier Account
You may ship on your own UPS or FedEx account. If you provide a valid carrier account number:
-
Freight charges are billed directly to your carrier account by the carrier
-
You may store your carrier account number in your account profile, or enter it during checkout and save it for future orders
-
You remain responsible for ensuring the account number is valid and active. Invalid account numbers will result in freight being billed to you by us.
Shipping Insurance
The manufacturer applies shipping insurance to any shipment valued over $500 per carton. This charge is passed through to you at cost.
Depending on the carrier and the arrangement, insurance charges may be billed to your carrier account or added to your invoice from us. In either case, the customer is responsible for this cost.
Same-Day Shipping
Orders entered by 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time may ship the same day, subject to manufacturer capacity and carrier. This applies to UPS shipments; other freight carriers are excluded. Same-day shipment is not guaranteed.
Risk of Loss
Shipments are FOB Whitestown, Indiana. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the shipment is delivered to the carrier at the manufacturer's facility.
Delivery Delays
The manufacturer makes every effort to meet confirmed delivery times. Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control- including severe weather, work stoppages, catastrophe, war, or other unforeseen events- do not give rise to any claim for damages against us. Cancellations in these circumstances are reviewed case by case.
